Tuna Avocado Salad

Such a great and easy meal for all these times when I am tired after a long day, and when I’ve definitely had too much take-out pho for one week. It takes less than 30 min to make; it is nutritious, colorful, creamy and crunchy. I hope it will brighten your day.

Tuna Avocado Salad Recipe

Total Time: 25 minutes     Serves: 1



1 ripe avocado

1 can tuna

½ red pepper

¼ cup cilantro

¼ cup fresh chopped chives

1 garlic clove

1 tsp cumin (or to taste)

juice of half lemon

salt to taste


In a large bowl add mashed avocado and tuna. Chop red pepper into cubes and add to the bowl. Mix in cilantro, chives and finely chopped garlic. Flavor with cumin and salt to taste and drizzle with lemon juice. Serve with lemon slices on the side.
